Darren Thompson is a native of London, Ontario and graduated from graphic design in 1982 from Fanshawe College, London, Ontario.

After several years in commercial art, Darren opened the SandBox and william street art gallery in Port Stanley to display his artwork, including paintings, sculpture, pottery and t-shirts.
